My Vision

Claim You, Claim Your Life, Claim Your Power

We have constructed a world that actively undermines, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Our collective future, and our individual health, need us to make a change.

Fast pace, pressure and comparison, information overload, technologies and businesses which drive dissatisfaction and consumerism, vulnerability hidden inside and feelings of isolation, powerlessness and shame.

We “connect” to many but lack true community and authentic relationships

The fundamentals of emotional and mental health seem increasingly hard to find or sustain but they are needed more than ever.

Through my years as a therapist, I have witnessed how people navigate deep personal change. I have walked my own path of healing and I have trained across modalities - from cognitive behavioural therapy & humanistic counselling to neuroscience & behavioural psychology to breathwork and visualisation, meditation and body process.

I wrote my book (and then the Claiming You programmes and mentoring offers) knowing that healing happens when we are given the resources, support and conditions for it to unfold.

I have identified four aspects of healing that we all need in order to claim our self-worth and personal power.

Aspect 1: Shared humanity

We all need to access authentic community, to hear about the experiences of others and normalise emotional pain. This reduces shame and isolation.

We need to develop the vocabulary to accurately express ourselves, this means we can be fully seen and fully heard (and offer the same to others). We must grow a more inclusive and multi-faceted definition of ourselves as successful humans - making success a beautiful story of struggle and strength co-existing.

Aspect 2: Making sense of self

We need support to develop the skills and capacity to sit with our emotions. When we can sit with ourselves, we can understand what is driving behaviours, or automatic reactions and what needs are unmet in. This could mean seeing the impact of past experiences. Making sense of ourselves brings self-acceptance - I know why I am, as I am. This is the foundation of a more positive relationship with ourselves and the wellspring of true self-worth.

Aspect 3: Accountability & intention

We need clear and trusted guidance on how to live a life full of health, wellbeing, meaning and purpose. Advice that is tried and tested and comes out of real lives. We need to be able to adapt and follow ideas that are inclusive and simple, evidence-based and effective. It's got to count but it's got to work for us as individuals We need a resource to return to whenever we need to reset, steady ourselves or grow.

Aspect 4: Claiming our power

We need to call back our power from the world and see how we can be part of change. We can learn accessible ways to show up with authenticity and to ripple our growing self-worth out into our relationships, workplaces, relationships and broader culture and society.

If change is calling you, then please get in touch.

The path lies ahead and we can walk it together.
