Talking Therapists
Talking Therapists is an ongoing project exploring the mental health of counsellors and psychotherapists, with the aim to reduce stigma, open up conversations across the profession, and build evidence for change through a survey, webinars, and published recommendations.
Information about this project can be read here.

We are kickstarting Talking Therapists by doing just that - holding an informal online conversation with a group of therapists over lunch, 1-2pm on Friday 31 July 2026. This will be a chance for our professional peers to break the silence - to share their experiences with us and help inform our onward work. We are looking for a maximum of ten therapists to join us. If you are interested to take part and would like more information about this, or Talking Therapists more generally, please contact us at talkingtherapists@gmail.com
Talking Therapists is run jointly by Emily McCoy and Tori Ufondu.
